Mark W. Harding
President, CEO, and Director (Principal Executive Officer)
Mark W. Harding joined Pure Cycle in 1990. During his tenure, Mr. Harding has been responsible for the acquisition of over $100 million of water and land interests. He serves as a director on several advisory boards relating to water and wastewater issues in the Denver region and is charged with identifying ways in which Colorado can address the water shortages facing Front Range cities. Mr. Harding holds a Bachelor’s in Computer Science and a Master’s in Business Administration, each obtained from the University of Denver.
Marc Spezialy
Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Principal Accounting Officer and Principal Financial Officer
Marc Spezialy joined Pure Cycle in 2023 and serves as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Spezialy has over 20 years of accounting and finance experience. Prior to joining, Mr. Spezialy was the VP, Controller, of Pulte Mortgage LLC, a subsidiary of PulteGroup, Inc. in Denver, Colorado. Prior to Pulte Mortgage, Mr. Spezialy served as the VP Finance for Alviere, a financial services technology platform based in Denver, Colorado, as well as Chief Financial Officer of Equinox, a land development and water management company based in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Spezialy began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in San Francisco in the Audit and Advisory Business Services group. After being promoted to Audit Manager, Mr. Spezialy transitioned to corporate accounting and served in various senior level accounting and finance positions. Mr. Spezialy obtained his bachelor's degree in both Accounting and Finance from the University of San Francisco and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of California.
Scott Lehman
Vice President, Engineering
Scott Lehman joined Pure Cycle in 2003 as an in-house engineer and water/wastewater systems operator. Now, Mr. Lehman serves as Pure Cycle’s Vice President of Engineering. He is a Professional Engineer (PE) with forty years’ experience in the planning, design, construction and operations of water and wastewater systems. Mr. Lehman received his Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder and his Master of Science from Stanford University.
Dirk Lashnits
Vice President, Land Development
Dirk Lashnits joined Pure Cycle in 2017 and serves as the Vice President of Land Development. Mr. Lashnits’ background includes a degree in Civil Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and over 20 years of experience developing land across the Front Range of Colorado. With an in-depth understanding of the local development industry, from acquisitions to entitlements and construction, Mr. Lashnits helps establish corporate objectives, mitigate risks, and optimize results.
